Our first and foremost include first use of Barcodes for Asset Management in Australia (1982), first use of Barcodes for Museum Objects (in the world – 1986), first use of Spread Spectrum Wireless (today this is called Wi-Fi) in Australia for Barcoded Inventory Warehouse Management (1992). We continue today seeking smarter ways to use Barcoding and not having to work harder. Staff of B&DCS, as an Associate Alliance Partner of GS1, regularly attend GS1 Accreditation and Training to ensure we remain up to date with GS1 Standards.
