Payment & Refund Policy

This policy explains how pricing, billing, cancellations and refunds work for paid features on OZFINDA (ozfinda.com.au). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. What you pay for

Browsing the OZFINDA directory is free. We charge for optional paid features for business owners, which may include subscription plans and featured (promoted) placement of a Listing. The features included in each Plan, and their prices, are shown on our pricing page and during checkout.

2. Prices and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Where applicable, prices are inclusive of GST, and a tax invoice is available for your records. We may change our prices from time to time; any change will not affect the current paid term of an existing subscription and will apply from your next renewal.

3. Billing and subscriptions

Paid Plans are billed in advance for the chosen billing period (for example, monthly or annually). Unless you cancel, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period and your payment method is charged for the next period at the then-current price. By subscribing, you authorise us (through our payment provider) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details. By making a payment you also agree to the payment provider's terms. You are responsible for keeping your payment details current.

5. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry it and notify you. If payment cannot be collected, we may suspend or downgrade the paid features of your account or Listing until the outstanding amount is paid. Free features generally remain available.

6. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings in the dashboard, or by emailing [email protected]. When you cancel, your paid features remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription will not renew after that. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

7. Refunds

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law sit alongside this policy and always apply (see section 8). In addition, our voluntary refund approach is:

  • Subscriptions — because you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals, fees already paid for the current or past periods are generally non-refundable. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period when you cancel mid-term.
  • Featured / promoted placement — once promotion has started, fees are generally non-refundable for the portion already delivered.
  • Renewals charged in error — if you intended to cancel and were charged for a new period, contact us within 14 days of the charge and, provided you have not made material use of the renewed features, we will usually refund it.
  • Billing errors and duplicate charges — we will refund any amount charged in error.

Refunds, where given, are made to the original payment method. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account details and the reason.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits or removes those rights. If there is a major failure with a paid service, you may be entitled to a refund and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and if that is not done you can seek a refund. Our voluntary refund approach above is in addition to — not instead of — these rights.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your paid features while the dispute is investigated.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Payment & Refund Policy from time to time. The current version is always shown on this page, with the "Last updated" date reflecting the most recent change.
