Fiona Simpson is the principal Occupational Therapist and Play Therapist at Discover Me Occupational Therapy. Play Therapy can assist children with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. Discover Me Occupational Therapy has a specially designed playroom with toys, creative media and equipment to encourage creativity, self-expression and your child to work through (play out) their individual worries and problems. As an Occupational Therapist I also have specialist knowledge in child development and the impact of emotional, social and behavioural difficulties on the child, the family and at school and social environments. For 18 years I have worked as an Occupational Therapist in private and public community mental health services in hospital and community services. My clinical work has involved counselling and rehabilitation on an individual and group basis. I have extensive knowledge of disability and mental health community support services.
