The Australian turf industry is unique in horticulture in that our growers sell directly to the end-user and therefore the entire supply chain is ‘on-farm’. As well as growing and selling turf, our industry supports and supplies turf for golf courses, bowling greens, wicket and pitch preparation, racing clubs, institutional and recreational playing fields, and commercial growing turf operations.
