Light Home is a website and bi-annual magazine that celebrates lightweight construction and light homes, because when they’re well designed, they’re perfectly suited to the way we love to live. The website and digital magazine feature information about design ideas and inspiration; expert design advice and contracts and simple how-to guides to help people plan their next new home or renovation. The website features four weekly blogs, all which profile good examples of environmentally sustainable design and light weight construction, and are written by a number of different writers. Visitors to the website can find information about environmentally sustainable design (and the science behind it); green interior design tips; podcasts about sustainable design; expert advice; and profiles about Australian light homes and the people who create them.
