The sun needs to get to the photovoltaic solar cells under the glass, so if your solar panel glass is dusty, covered by leaves or has bird droppings, or pollen stuck to it then the panels won't make as much power. Most solar companies say between 5% and 15% power reduction is typical, especially in Summer when we don't have the heavy rain in Perth to naturally wash the panels down. We charge $5 a panel plus a $50 call out fee. If you are getting your windows washed or gutters cleared at the same time, we will, of course waive the call out fee.
